Nature is where her heart lies.

I did a shoot in Hong Kong with the lovely Jade the day after my birthday just a couple of months ago. I went to her home in the morning to pick some outfits, and gosh her place is absolutely breathtaking… Think white, spacious, and a balcony that looks out to the sea! Easily my dream home, haha.

I’ve always wanted to shoot at a waterfall, so Jade brought me to this really magical place. The trek in was really long, but it was well worth it. Believe me when I say she has a really adventurous soul. She climbed over rocks and waded in the water so quickly like it was nothing. I’ve never had an experience like that before (not with the limited nature Singapore has to offer), and with a camera around my neck, I was very wary of my steps. She was so spontaneous with posing and getting up on high rocks, it was really such a joy spending the afternoon with her.

For our last set, we had to walk along a narrow trail, and climb down a cliff front-faced to get to the main waterfall. I was so scared of losing my footing and falling all the way down but thankfully I managed the whole thing alive. :b More on the rest of the day in my next post… And well, I’m so glad the pictures all turned out great!

(To be continued in part ii of this series, which I will post tomorrow!)

Meanwhile, I’m giving out free curves again! If you look at the side bar under “Happenings!”, there’s a preview of my new curves, Atlantic Blue. It will be available for download when we reach 1700!

So keep your eyes peeled! xxx

PS. I love you all!

  1. Thank you!
And Wenhui, Jade (the model) was definitely more daring haha. Given I’m so afraid of bugs and fish and leeches and all that, I’m proud of myself for not freaking out as much as I thought I would :B
