Tens: Filter Your World

As some of you may know, I recently had Epi-Lasik done on my eyes (more on that in the next month or so!), and I was given the typical post-Lasik sunglasses to protect my eyes from the UV rays. They’re not the most stylish to wear them outdoors, but thank God I have my Tens Sunglasses to bring around with me now. In fact, I don’t only wear these UV400-coated babies to protect my eyes from the harsh sunlight, I also wear them just because everything I see through my new sunglasses is now warmly tinted that I never want to take them off.

In today’s post, I’m going to share with you the view of my recent Bangkok trip made even more beautiful (especially golden light!) through my Tens sunglasses. You can see how much more my (yours too) view is enhanced with their custom lens tint!

The model I’m wearing is the Tens Tortoiseshell Compact which sports a smaller frame than their classics. I have a really small face, so it’s rare to find one that fits perfectly, and also one without friends telling me that my sunglasses are too big for me. Seems to me I’ll be keeping these sunglasses forever already!

The colors of Bangkok etched in my mind since childhood are usually colder — concrete walls, old buildings and wet roads — Everything just looks a little dull (save for their taxis). But with Tens on, Bangkok seemed like it was drenched with honey. Sweet, warm, colors. Just the way I love my light!

I often forget that others can’t enjoy the same view I’m getting when I have these on. I’d point to Drea (my faithful travel buddy) and say, “Oh wow! THAT LIGHT!”, or “Take a picture of that!”; but her responses were pretty much… nyeh, no thanks. Then I realised why. “Here come on, try these!” and then she goes wow, just like I do when I have them on.

If you’d like a real life photo filter for yourself, they’re available online exclusively at the Tens.Asia website.
